How To Do Pull Ups Properly?

Pull Ups are not that easy if you are doing it for the first time. But even if you are new you can do one to two pull ups. You can increase the number of pull ups you can do by making sets of your exercise duration. You should first know that what are pull ups.

If you pull your body up in the air to the pull up bar and can lift your weight repeatedly that means you are doing Pull Ups. There are several ways of doing it and each method is effective in it’s on way. Below I have gathered some of the ways you are do pull ups.

Pull Ups

The proper way of doing Pull-up is when you hang on to a pull-up bar in such a way that your arms are straight and your  palms are facing away. So when you pull your body up your chin should cross the bar. Then lower your body all the way down until your arms are straight. Get Some Help

If you are doing it for the first time then ask someone may be your friend or anyone to help you pull up. Do  make sure that you are doing the pull up and not your friend helping you all the way. Try not to push-off as it was explained in the above video as well. So try to pull up yourself by pulling your body up with your back muscle and help yourself pull up.

Multiple Sets Of Pull Ups

Make a habit of doing pull up it doesn’t matter if you are can do only one or may be two pull up. Make sets of pull ups like 10 set of 1 pull up then 10 sets of 2 and so on. You can do more push ups if you do it regularly. Here is what you should do.

  • 10 sets of 1 Pull up
  • 10 sets of 2 Pull ups
  • 10 sets of 3 Pull ups
  • 10 sets of 4 Pull ups
  • 10 sets of 5 Pull ups

You can decrease the number of sets if you increase the pull ups. By doing this pull up exercise regularly I can guarantee that you will be able to do 10 pull ups in your 1st set.

Believe In Yourself

Don’t feel lazy or skip days, be strict to yourself and do it passionately. You can do more pull ups if you believe in yourself that you can do it. “You can do it” will help you do more pull ups. One important thing to keep in mid is, age and gender doesn’t matter so stop thinking about that.
